Lara Croft once again invites gaming enthusiasts into her gun-toting adventures in Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. The game is the fifth title developed by Crystal Dynamic for the Tomb Raider franchise and is a reboot that focuses on Lara's remodeled origins.

A breathtakingly realistic graphical enhancement, intense gameplay innovations and plenty of hard-hitting action will arrive on the next-generation console, with Tomb Raider Definitive Edition returning to the fore.

Join Lara as she tries to escape and traverse a hostile island known as Yamatai in search of her kidnapped friends.

Survive evil cults, brutes and betrayals as you try to escape this island of evil. The action-adventure, exploration and survival mechanics are very well combined with the interconnected hub-and-spoke model of the game.



Characteristics:

- For the first time in the Tomb Raider series, a multiplayer option will be available. Players can compete against each other across multiple multiplayer maps in these three types of multiplayer modes that include: Team Death Match is a simple one-on-one combat scenario
- Private Rescue is a time-limited mode where a certain class of squads are assigned to perform specific tasks. And finally the Cry for Help mode where a team must complete a task and survive being hunted by others
- In all three modes, the destructible environment and acquired weapons can be carried over from the single player campaign



- Lara must use her brawn and brains to overcome an impossible situation. The player must guide Lara through physics puzzles, challenging environments and a high-impact story to overcome a harrowing situation and make it off the island alive
- Tomb Raider pushes the action genre forward with visceral third-person combat and a deep weapon and equipment upgrade system that Lara will need to strategically use to overcome increasingly difficult enemies and environments
- It wouldn't be Tomb Raider without certain characteristic elements. In addition to platforming, Lara will have to explore large areas to gain experience points that will improve her weapons and equipment
- One of the key elements of dynamic traversal is the gear gating gameplay loop: throughout the game, Lara will continuously upgrade her gear and be able to reach previously inaccessible locations that will allow her to further upgrade her gear and weapons
